Not that long ago, the school did prefer the lower case "a"


It was in their style guide, and I distinctly remember reading it. "UVa" was what they wanted, rather than "UVA." Now it's the other way around. The school likes "UVA." I tend to like all-caps better because it's easier to type.

Interestingly, "AccessUVa" requires lower-case "a" per the magazine style guide.

I'm also in the camp of no H on the end of Wahoowa. No hyphen, either. The style guide agrees. Also, I have it on a license plate and the final H doesn't fit.
