If you're into astronomy go to Lowell Observatory in Flagstaff


they have public nights where you can look through telescopes. Sometimes the lines suck and it's not worth it though, imo.

For Antelope Canyon, reserve it ahead of time. If you can't get upper antelope canyon, go with lower antelope canyon. If you can't get either, you could do waterhole canyon which isn't quite as neat but still decent.

If you really want the best way to see some cool canyons, rent a kayak at antelope point marina and explore the crevices and canyons of lake powell.

you'd probably be remiss to be there and not see Horseshoe Bend. It used to be free but not anymore. No idea how much it costs but it's an amazing view.
