What's this?

That's very helpful. But the differences of opinion are more semantic than


substantive. There were changes; everyone agrees on that. Whether that was abandoning "the system" or just adjusting/modifying it does not matter.

An outsider reading the original thread on this exchange would at best think we are wasting energy; at worst think we are daft.

I should have phrased the original question differently.
