I think Bronco has a known commodity this season in the UVA football team. That is a fundamentally sound football team with a good defensive scheme and a quality P-5 QB on the offensive side of the ball. The questions lies in the ability of the playmakers (RB, WR) to grow into their P-5 roles and the quality of the OL (I could be missing something regarding those positions).
VT isn't a known commodity this season. Last year was filled with turnover (both players and coaches), injuries (again, both players and coaches), and tons of youth at key positions. Was that really the reason for the bad year? Do those similar trends carry on to this season as well? Based on the Spring, most around the program are very optimistic.
In any event, Thanksgiving weekend should be a big one in the Commonwealth!
