This is great advice

We liked our stay in Bar Harbor when we did Acadia last June. Depending on your lodging preference you have everything from rustic cabin to boutique hotel (recommend West St hotel). Many good to great dining options as well.

Acadia presents a number of challenging hikes (Precipice Trail, Beehive Loop, Cadillac Mountain) as well as beautiful moderate hikes (Jordan Pond, the Bubbles, the Ocean Path). Just absolutely gorgeous and the weather is perfect all summer.
