Was carrying one of the kids' glass desk top out of an apartment on 14th St


probable 3' x 5' and only 1/8" thick so it wasn't too heavy ... so I was carrying it in one hand ... but must have applied a little too much pressure with my thumb, because when it "exploded" and I looked down, it looked almost like the glass had turned to water as thousands of tiny glass pebbles were released at the instant it failed.
