Odenkirk's point was the audience already got the joke,

and it was probably the funniest 4 minutes of SNL ever.

The last two minutes the tone switched, and it was just saying that Chris Farley was fat. The audience didn't buy into it and I remember being uncomfortable at the time.

We get it, hot guy dancing with fat guy funny. Judges just saying a guy is fat...I get Odenkirk's point, not funny.

It would be like a Matt Foley skit (which I love), and someone just randomly comes in and tells Chris Farley that Matt Foley is fat.
