Reading the posts below about cord cutting.....and I was thinking of how

advanced home entertainment features/options have become. I grew up in the early 80s and I remember having a 13" color tv with just 4-5 channels to watch and I didn't think nothing of it. Where I was raised, we didn't have cable tv service or satellite tv (and even today, certain parts of that community still don't cable access). Then I got an Atari 2600 unit for Christmas (1983 or 1984?) and that changed my world. I still remember the excitement I would get whenever I turned the unit on and got those (at that time) "cool" graphics on my tv screen. And, now, here I am streaming content through the internet and apps, etc. I am so fascinated by the Amazon Fire TV streaming device I much content to watch and have access to. Just amazing least it is to me.
