Luckily, we smartened up last year and took a lot of the midrange attempts


out of our shot breakdown. Someone posted an article a few months ago that showed the difference, but we really took the "NBA" approach. Inside looks (whether from postup, cut action or slashing) and 3pt shots have been proven time and time again to be the most efficient way to play the game. There are opportunities for the high post midrange jumper when we play Syracuse... BUT there's also opportunities to rain wide open 3s and hit guys like Diakite or Huff on a weakside alley oop lob.
