That would be an expensive way to move furniture, especially considering


you'd want to make sure you really packed the furniture well to tolerate being moved around en route to you. (By packed, obviously I don't mean "in boxes", rather I simply mean stretch-wrapped and/or padded+wrapped to surive the move.)

If the furniture isn't worth the cost of LTL, and if it's not worth your time to fly down to FL, rent a truck, and drive the truck back to VA, then I guess you might want to consider if it's really worth having it (?).

Sentimental stuff though, that is always more valuable than it would be to someone else - I totally get that.
