Harris was in foul trouble. Picked up a cheap charge and eventually

fouled out. He started well but he was never really able to get into a rhythm because he kept picking up fouls. And I only agree with one of those point in the article. Or I guess two halves of two, which equals one. France was KILLING us on screen and rolls with Gobert and Fournier because Fournier would shoot threes on the big who was sagging. Straight KILLING us. So we went smaller and thus we were able to slow him down - that's one of the reasons we came back in the second half. YES, Gobert then started to beat us up inside but 2pts versus 3pts... eh. I do think that it wasn't Walker's night, and Mitchell was having a much better game, but the US has been going to Kemba all tourney. So I don't necessarily fault that strategy since that has been your best player all tourney. Didn't work, because at the end of the game pretty much EVERYONE was getting blocked by Gobert, but it worked well enough that we had the lead with like 2min left in the fourth. Twenty-twenty hindsight by the article, but I guess that's what you gotta do when the US loses. In reality though, this team just wasn't really strong enough to be "a bunch of pieces thrown together" if they wanted to beat teams with NBA level talent who have played together for years. Saw this result coming months ago.
