Some students (foreign or local) just don’t like football

I think it comes down to a culture. Does UVA have a culture of fanatic support for our sports? Is it indoctrinated into them from day 1 they step foot on grounds?

When I was there in 04-09 I would say that culture was not there. It had pockets of excellence (e.g., hoo crew members) but the overall student body had other priorities. Whether that be academic or extra curricular or partying.

Winning will cure a lot. I’ve seen even big time programs like LSU with poor student body attendance when the program is the in the perceived shitter
