Let's start with a 29 point spread is not irrational or unreasonable

This is not the Clemson of Ken Hatfield or Tommy West.

This is arguably the best team any UVA team has ever faced.

Our keys to an improbable win, or even keeping it close, rest on

1. Perkins being Perkins

2. Getting some plays to Dubois

3. Anae (!) getting creative both in the run game and the passing game; we may not get a ton of yards on the ground but we cannot be completely one-dimensional

4. Winning the turnover battle. Against a team like this, we would need to be like +3 (yes I know they don't turn it over much - or at all - and that +3 is almost ludicrous to even hope for, I'm just saying we need something huge to go in our favor to give us a chance.)

5. Limiting controllable mistakes, particularly penalties.

I am hoping, but do not predict, that our offense will be able to perform much better than other teams they've faced this year.

I am hoping, but do not predict, that our defense can get some pressure on Trevor Lawrence.

I stated in an earlier post that this is college football, anything can happen. That's the best I've got.
