I've thought about getting into reffing to help stay fit. Only problem is


I never played the game. I've started watching more now that my son is playing, both his games and the pros, but I know watching a sport is completely different from having played it.

In your honest opinion, do you think a neophyte like me can become a good ref and learn not just how to recognize and call fouls, but also how to manage a competitive game?
