OT question on dissent. Why do soccer refs allow so much more egregious dis

dissent than allowed in any other sport? You routinely see soccer players scream, yell and physical confront refs without any consequences in a way that would be immediate ejections in any other major sport. Often you’ll see half the team surround the ref and yell at him for making a call with no consequence whatsoever. You never see anything of the sort in football or basketball or even baseball, and if you did multiple players would be ejected.

I have never understood why so much dissent, complaining, screaming, and general bad sportsmanship towards to ref is allowed soccer. Would love your thoughts on the reason for that.
