I have been trying to think of something to say that might be interesting to others about the match, but am having trouble and I see no point in being negative, even if it was bad loss. After WF lost its top two (Petros Chrysocos and Borna Gojo) I had convinced myself that WF would be just another good to average ACC team this year, but clearly Tony Bresky has continued to recruit at a high level. His top three were all very good college players, Although their #1 Bar Botzer (played #3 last year) is nowhere near as good as Gojo, he has become a strong #1player. He and Carl had an incredibly close match, which Carl barely won in a 3rd set Match TB by a score of 14-12, which I wish I had stayed to watch, but the match was already decided.

While the debate over no ad scoring has subsided, after watching this match I had no problem with it, and it did help to keep match time to under 3 hours. Doubles took just less than 30 minutes and singles about 2 1/4 hours even though the coaches agreed not to abandon the match at 4-0 as the official rules state. Had they abandoned the match it would have been over at about 3:15 PM or about 2 1/4 hours in total.
