The stadium also lost probably 35% of fans during and after halftime. That
is a terrible sign. I was at the game and stayed til the end. It was a lot of fun but parking and concessions were a nightmare. My friends left for concessions with 4 min to go in Q2 and weren't able to return until half way through Q3. They also ran out of beer and many food items.
I thought that the stadium sizing was fantastic for this type of league. However, my gut tells me that we see a 60-75% full stadium in weeks to come. folks show up to the first game for the novelty but will they keep coming back is the question?
I hope that the league doesn't bleed out and can sustain a bit a of a business model. If its a stepping stone, developmental league, then it needs G-league/ minor league baseball level of fan support.
