Why have Brogdon’s shooting percentages dropped so much this year?


His 2-pt% has gone from 54.4 to 48.6. His 3-pt% has gone from 42.6 to 32.7. Those are steep declines. Is it because this year he’s a primary ball handler and scoring option rather than secondary? In other words, he’s having to create his own shot more rather than being set up by another? For example, with the Bucks, if Antetokounmpo was the primary scoring option and the defense was keying on him, that would free up Brogdon for some easier points?
