Not true. TV revenue differential never been this disproportionate among

power conference schools. Believe what you choose, but it doesn’t require a deep dive to see how conference network income by the B1G/SEC, shorter renewable terms for TV deals with ESPN/Fox Sports for those two leagues, the next negotiations for CFP, forthcoming likeness fees to athletes, etc., will further change the landscape for college sports.

Moreover, not sure you fully understand what I’m suggesting. It’s not about an AD leaving for non-revenue sports funding. But having budgets in the $200M-$300M+ range for for B1G/SEC is going to have a profound impact on competitive balance, and where the top administrators, coaches and staff will end up. Each school will decide how to deploy those funds and set priorities, but to suggest it’s not going to have an impact is simply short-sighted.
