They all got to compete. It's just that the championships didn't happen. However, I'm less sad about it than I thought I would be.

Women's Swimming went out as ACC champions and one of the best teams in the nation. Men's basketball found so many ways to win that we finished 16th in the final poll even though we looked like total garbage through the first 7 or 8 conference games. Would have been great to see how the postseason played out, but I feel like we went out as winners. Now, I'm not one of the athletes. While most of the basketball players got that ring last year, this was the best shot our swimmers have had in forever so they probably feel really ripped off. For me as a fan, I'm ok with how things ended - we went out as winners in both, and normally that doesn't happen.
