If you live out in the country in Nelson County, your first home is remote

and has that second home feeling. I walk the dog down my gravel road with no traffic for a mile and hike the mountain behind me for exercise. We do not grow our own veggies in a garden any more, but you certainly could and a lot of neighbors do. Keeping six feet away from people is not difficult. Plus I know most of the people I see and also know the people they have seen. It's not a perfect bubble but it's not bad especially in early spring weather.

These type of events make it harder to keep the secret about country livin'.
