See link from ITA website about a U Miami senior coming back

due to the extended eligibility.

All spring sports including tennis have some sort of a fall season, but the team competition is in the spring and that is what was cancelled. All are getting the extra year of eligibility . Tennis is no different. If you have to have an official list of the spring sports that are getting the extra year to be convinced, I don't think such a list will ever be published, because it is obvious at least to me and not needed.

One thing I thought of about this Miami player from Spain is that once she stops attending college her student visa ends, as is the case with all foreign players, so they cannot stay in the USA, unless they can get a work visa. I have never understood how foreign athletes, especially golfers and tennis players can move and live here (usually in Florida) under our immigration rules. Maybe there is an exception for pro athletes? Can anyone explain why this is allowed?
