Assuming colleges open in the fall and sports resume.

This year's 3 man recruiting class is crucial for the long term future of UVA tennis, even if some of our current players want to take advantage of the extra year of eligibility granted by the NCAA.

Obviously if Carl wants to return for the 2021 season that would be huge. With pro tennis at all levels on hiatus and they could stay that way for many more months turning pro may not be a good option for Carl, so I could see him wanting to return. In his case, he could accept the same level (don't know, but he is probably on or close to a full schollie now). Assuming VAF can/will fund it he could get the same $$ that he got this year without the team using any portion of the 4.5 scholarship limit. I suppose Ross and/or Lord could ask to return for the 2022 season, but Pedroso has to agree to take them back and the normal 4.5 scholarship limit will be back in place for the 2022 season, I doubt either has a future in pro tennis so they could ask to return, but I would think only Ross would be welcomed back, especially after the probable permanent loss of Christian Alshon.

My son graduated from NCS, so they are my 2nd favorite ACC team. Your tennis coach is doing an amazing job. I wonder if NCS's very nice new tennis stadium has been a major factor?
