Now that PGA tour will resume play in June , albeit with no fans,

I think the ATP and WTA tours will resume about the same time with testing of all players on a recurring basis perhaps every 2/3 weeks and initially with no fans. Hopefully by late summer the US Open can be played with some fans (like me) in attendance (perhaps with a limit on how many can watch, so that social distancing (maybe only sell every 3rd or 4th seat in a row and with no fans in every other row) can be maintained and with probably with mandatory face masks for fans.

I have a hard time figuring out the financial aspects of having no ticket sales and no fans. In golf the TV contracts for regular tour events are larger than in tennis (except for the Slams and maybe in the 1,000 level events), so it may not be economically feasible for the tennis tours to play without ticket sales, especially for the 250 and 500 (DC) level USA summer tour events. I suppose they could reduce the players cut of the pie, perhaps significantly and play them. Obviously in tennis the players do not come in close contact with each other, so social distancing is not a problem, except for the fans and with precautions as discussed herein maybe it could be done.
