UVa women get a good transfer: Carson Branstine of USC (link)

Carson was a #1 blue chip who got some injury problems late in her junior career, and she also had knee surgery as a freshman at USC. She has three years of eligibility remaining. Welcome to UVa, Carson, and take time getting healthy!

2016 singles QF at junior U.S. Open
2017 singles QF at junior Wimbledon
2017 doubles champion at junior Australian Open
2017 doubles champion at junior French Open
#4 world ranking in junior ITF rankings
10 WTA Top 100 doubles wins, including winning the $25K pro circuit doubles title in Gatineau, Quebec.

Her mother is from Toronto and she competes internationally as a Canadian, but grew up in Irvine, CA. Older sister is graduating from USC right now.

This will balance out our classes perfectly (2-2-2-2 = 8 scholarships over four years).

Seniors: Rosie and Vivian
Juniors: Amber and Sofia
Sophomores: Natasha and Carson
Freshmen: Emma and Hibah
