I, too, work in higher education and I agree.


There's so much missing from an online education. Some hybrid might become more prevalent than before the pandemic, but there are too many students (and parents) who want the college experience. I don't have children, but from my own time at UVA many years ago, I can guarantee I learned more about how to navigate the world than I did in any classroom. I also struggle with the notion that many 18 year olds have the motivation to study exclusively online and glean from their classes all the knowledge.
