Thanks, makes sense to me, but in terms of recruited athletes

do they give favorable treatment over non athletes when comes to $$. As long as the aid/scholarship is not called an athletic scholarship there are no NCAA no limits on how much an athlete can get or on how many athletes can get aid over above the D1 scholarship limits. My guess is that Duke LAX, IVY league LAX, JHU LAX, WF Tennis and Vandy baseball all take advantage of what I call a NCAA loophole to exceed perhaps by a lot the NCAA limits. They have the $$ so why not give more $$ than their competitors can who have to abide by the NCAA limits to have winning teams plus they also offer great educations.
