This is easy: lockdowns were bad and of no help. Here's why...


...Lockdown has come to mean any government response that a particular person thinks went too far or was unnecessary.

So then it becomes definitional: The unnecessary things were unnecessary.

The good stuff that governments did was good and therefore not a lockdown.

Trying to slow people from NYC from traveling all of the country was not a lockdown! Because that was good and smart. So therefore not a lockdown!

Preventing in person business conferences in windowless conference rooms: good idea! So therefore not a lockdown!
