You are completely incorrect. if athletes were not getting physically

superior then those records would not be falling. that is irrefutable.

so lets tackle your other apparently just because you think it argument. per the internet, which is what i have to go with since i dont know any of the players i listed, Mahorn is taller than Lebron and played 10 lbs lighter. Laimbeer was taller than mahorn and played about 5 lbs lighter than Lebron. so by physics, lebron is a bigger player by mass. his is also more compact and better trained and taken care of than those players simply by knowing more now than we did then.

if you want to discuss the mental and emotional ability of todays players trying to play back then, i would probably agree with you. but from a purely physical ability, you are simply wrong and its silly that you cannot accept the obvious fact that players are simply built differently now.

do you look at the NFL and think that players from the 80s and earlier would have any chance against the players today? just take a look at OLs in the hall of fame from the 80s and compare their size to the average OL playing today. dont look earlier than that though bc it gets way worse. do you think baseball players are the same? take a look at the number of players throwing in the high 90s and HRs hit per season. it is obvious that players are different now than they were then. to think that trend has not touched basketball players is just silly
