My favorite UVA lax games would be:
3. 1972 championship, underdog, free spirited UVA upsets buttoned down lax royalty JHU 13-12 at College Park on a late goal by Pete Eldredge in my second year.
2. 1994 semifinal UVA 15 - 14 in ot vs Syracuse at College Park. Came back from 6 goals down late in 3rd quarter or early 4th quarter, as best I remember. Watson wins in in ot. Watson, Whiteley and Knight my favorite attack unit of all time. Lost to Princeton in ot in final. UVA vs Cuse games unmatched for exciement in this era.
1. 1999 championship UVA 12 - 10 vs Cuse again and at Byrd Stadium again, surprise, no ot. Great game but #1 for what it meant to me. 27 years since last title in '72. I attended all of these 3 games described but I also attended our 4 championship game losses over this 27 year period, all in ot or double ot, unbelievable. The wait was finally over and I will admit I had tears of joy in my eyes as I left Byrd that day.

In addition our quarterfinal win over the terps, our semifinal win over dook and our championship game victory over Yale in 2019 would make a nice three game run to round out a six pack.

So many years, so many memories. Thank you UVA lax!
