Access to players on trips may change. I've often been at team hotels the

night before games, and after team meetings & dinner it's pretty wide open to interact with players down in the lobby. It's mainly players' families, and that includes plenty of grandparents, aunts, uncles, siblings, girlfriends in addition to parents but also traveling fans. If the game the next day is late afternoon or evening, there are additional periods of interaction during game day, with all the waiting around. I would think they will be separating players from as many other people as possible on these trips. Even within the team, you'd be surprised how many UVA employees are in close physical contact with players---managers, equipment people, academic tutors who routinely fly with the basketball team. They all have to be tested too.
