Tough to Look That Far Ahead


Athletic departments struggle to look that far ahead while they’re struggling financially. And its very difficult to assume that athletic alumni will donate more money than no -athletic alumni.

If the athletic department spends Over $100,000 on a swimmers scholarship during their 4 years, with inflation particularly, they have to donate a lot of money during their lifetimes to pay that back in donations.

And I agree that because may be the model moving forward. Fiscally responsible, and sustainable. Not as flashy, but it is certainly responsible
