Gotcha. Answer is absolutely not.

That said, you are safe in the top tiers of CCL, ECNL and the like for good coaching. Ref a lot of these at the U16 and above boys, some girls. Do not think I have met a coach with under a B license minimum plus fairly solid playing background.

Funny thing is, I almost never hear a thing about what I am doing in the middle and when I do...they often have a good point. Maybe 1-2 times a season I have to hit the whistle go over to the side and say something like "I understand you wanted advantage and you clearly had it, but that full and striker clearly were having issues behind the play." As often as not they will nod and say "yeah, that kid...I get it...." and that is it. Quiet during games with only the occasional call out to player out of position or to change things up. Mainly low key coaching.... "if your wider do you think you have a better chance to receive on that sort of play?" None of this endless yelling. And top to bottom talented kids. When I do the 18/19s they have all committed or are deciding on mid majors and up.

And more than a few times I will hear the coaches calling to the parents to stop coaching the kids and be quiet.
