I went to a UVa vs. Hopkins game in the 1980s where Hop stalled the ball...

for over 8 minutes. Playing catch, 4 corners, Dean Smith style to nurse a lead.

Basically that was about 1/6th of the entire game which wasn’t competed. I don’t remember that as awesome. There is no perfect, but the game is best played up & down. I’ve always felt that if your offense can’t generate a shot in a minute in a settled 6x6, you don’t have one. We all have differing opinions, mine is I love the shot clock.
