He has to get the reflection year before we bury him...


As people have said, he was a good three-point shooter in high school.

I'd like him to clean up his mechanics. A little less Justin Anderson, a little more Malcolm Brogdon. This isn't some sort of weird leadership thing, just that the quieter your shot is, the better it translates to different distances.

Morsell's shot is loud. He jumps super high and fires that thing off with a low trajectory like he's taking the final shot against a double-team for a state championship. To be effective, he needs to get to a spot, settle his feet, and take it when it's open. It may require a break down and re-build that's hopefully happening right now.

I'd honestly rather see Morsell work on attacking the basket and creating contact. The game was incredibly fast for him last year, and in his second year, I bet he improves.

He's got the Bennett star of approval for defense.
