You sure a DT = a DE in a 3-4.

I’d say that’s wrong. I’d say the only distinction is someone who is listed as a NT is only playing NT in base sets where as a DT can play NT in base sets or DT in more exotic sets where we have 4+ pass rushers.

But I am also not totally sure.
