What? So they have the right to exit a contract if they don't feel ...

it's favorable? Then what good is a contract? They weren't even specific with UCLA's failure to meet their agreement and providing unspecified marketing benefits for an extended period of time. Are citing they force majeure?

We rip on athletes, coaches, and college students when they reneg on a deal. So it's okay when companies do it in year 4 of a 15 year deal?

I already said both parties should renegotiate if UA is in the brink of bankruptcy. However, UCLA and Cal have no obligation to do so.

Again, if UA is looking for an out through a loophole during a pandemic it's shady. There's no way to spin it.

Again, I never said it was illegal. However, it's shady which is the same as what you say, "makes them look bad."

I'm tired of bailing out bad companies ... especially if UA is looking for investors by wiping out their "bad contracts" through the pandemic. This company was in financial trouble before the pandemic. Let's make that clear.
