I see this as leverage to get more donors. UVA baseball needed a wake up..


call to pull in the donors and look at the results from those hard earned program dollars. Stanford may just be testing the waters with these programs to see what level of interest there may be to retain those sports. Of course, Stanford also needs to look at the overall financial picture so some or all of these sports may disappear unless substantial donor funding is obtained.
