Went out to for a sit down beer and food for first time since March.

Nothing fancy but wanted to try Skipping Rock in the old Hardywood space on Main Street. Hardywood IPAs are bad (although not the swill of PRN) and the place had a weird vibe. Skipping rock had done well resetting the joint and the beers are very, very solid. Prolly the best IPAs in town although I have not tried the joint by 5th Season.

Ordered a burger/fries to-go at Peleton which was very local and very tasty, but at $17 ($22 with tip) for something the size of Jack Browns burger I remained hungry. They had 2 tables sitting and about 6 people picking up orders (including services) and the 2 ladies up front were racing like crazy doing the best they could

Watched a herd (does 12-15 count as a herd?) of Co-eds walk, sans any sort of distancing and without masks, up to the pizza joint across the street. They did all stop at the door, dig into their bags (long enough and deep enough for me to know the masks were not close at hand) to find masks and put them on before going inside.
