At what point do you say MOVE ON..You got a degree!

I recently heard someone say something to the effect that "Every great cause starts as a movement, becomes a business, and eventually degenerates into a racket.”

I agree with what you've said regarding student athletes in general. I think our disagreement is on the need to play 4 years.
My stance is get your degree in 5 and move on. At that point mission accomplished! I don't care if you PLAYED a total of 4 years. If you transfer, play immediately. Why is playing 4 years important? I don't get it.
Your demonstrating why she's entitled to and/or how and why she can even consider a year 6, underscores why this has become racket for all parties involved. Did the NCAA call and ask her if she was interested in a 6th year or someone figured how to scheme the system..As you show one year she just barely went over 30% rule. Ask for that year back.. what does she have to lose.
A a coach will consider a 24 year old, mature, athletically and academically tested athlete over a 18 year old freshmen. Yes,even one with lackluster stats. It has become a racket!
