Interesting question. When you think about it Key and Mamadi

brought so much positive to the table we forget the downsides. Braxton didn’t shoot the 3 well, had difficulty finishing at the rim and was only mediocre from the foul line. Seeing an upturn in those areas will be expected but his rebounding and ability to guard multiple positions will be difficult to replace in one player.
Mamadi even to the end got lost defensively on more than a few occasions and was lazy in his transition defense more than I liked. He also took a lot of “ hopeful “ shots when no rebounders were in place. His three point shot was a surprise this year, but Hauser will make us forget Mamadi’s 3 point percentage.
I will be watching Hauser’s defense, particularly his shot blocking and individual defense on smaller players to see if he can approach Mamadi’s work there. Also will be interesting to see how Hauser and Huff work together. They could be a wrecking crew.
