I think I characterized it as "a hint of a whisper of a rumor"...

In other words, it is quite insubstantial. Regardless, I still don't expect to see any of the true frosh replace the returning rotation players. I imagine that Clark gets some relief from Beekman so he doesn't have to stay on the floor for the entire game. At least, I hope Beekman is ready to do that. And, since Woldetensae had the next highest number of minutes at roughly 27 mpg, I wouldn't be surprised if his PT drops a wee bit. However, I still expect Stattmann and Morsell to maintain their 20+ mpg. I would certainly expect that initially. Abdur-Rahim and/or McCorkle will have to prove themselves on the defensive end before they get significant minutes. I also think you're taking the recruiting rankings a bit too seriously. Mamadi Diakete was ranked #32 (247), if I am not mistaken, and it took him a while to earn meaningful PT. Meanwhile, Perrantes was an immediate starter, and he was ranked well over #100. Well over. Our returning players were performing at a very high level at the end of the season, and I am a bit skeptical that they will find themselves supplanted by the true frosh. Go 'Hoos!!!
