Neil Diamond is an obvious one. 'Sweet Caroline' was never anything special

when it came out. Nowhere near as popular as some of Neil's other hits, like 'Kentucky Woman' or 'Cherry Cherry' or 'You Got To Me,' among many others. I'm not sure when "Sweet Caroline" became such a big thing with the college students, but it's everywhere now. You always hear it at JPJ with the Pep Band and at Pitt it's their main attraction between 3rd & 4th Quarter at Heinz Field & at the last Time-Out at basketball games. This has brought Neil Diamond the fame beyond that which he knew in the '60's.
