Schedules should be out soon. I would think it's easier this year to book
arenas, with almost no other conflicts to work around. Every year, schools have to avoid annual events like Sesame Street shows, Disney on Ice, concerts, various trade shows/conventions, etc. But this year, with probably no bookings for anything, schools should be able to get any dates they want on their home floors. Further, schools usually have to worry about being fair by scheduling an equal balance of weekend & weekday games for each school, with weekend games having the most fan appeal. This year, with likely no fans, it won't matter, for example, if every UVA home game is on a weekday. They're all on TV anyway. It won't even matter if teams have lengthy road trips----after all, classes are all online. So with all this, it seems that schedulers have a much easier job this year than in years past. Shouldn't be long before we get the finished product.
