What’s her interest?


There are lots of great DK picture books that are science-y. The human body, animals, and so on.

Building toys are good. Mag Tiles are great for that age.

There is some kind of monthly subscription box, I think it’s called Tinker Crate.

For kids, I also encourage cooking and baking. Lots of chemistry involved in baking as well as learning fractions.

Tickets or a membership to a museum are good. Most science museum memberships have reciprocity. We did that a lot when the kids were smaller and we were traveling.

Mainly, let them find find hobbies, dig in the dirt, etc.
