We still have great coaches, but it's possible the pandemic has thrown them

off their practice regimen & maybe they haven't adjusted as well as other teams. Our coaches have been praised for our bubble & our excellent Covid numbers relative to other programs, but perhaps there has been a cost to that in the amount of hands-on coaching that's happening. We just don't know because what happens in practice is so hush-hush. But remember that first game when Navy looked so atrocious after their coaches admitted they didn't let the players engage in contact. That Navy coach is excellent, but he was overly cautious in how he prepared the team. Maybe some of that has gone on with Bronco & his staff----the priority has been safety, best health practices, low covid numbers. Perhaps some of what we're going through could be related to the way our coaches have had to change the way they used to prepare our kids. I still think we have excellent coaches, but this pandemic has thrown off a lot of people off their game in all kinds of fields. We might be seeing some effects of that in the way we're playing this year.
