Legal technology, like the law itself, lags 10-15 years behind.
We had trial software when I matriculated (2010) that is light years beyond anything I’ve seen in any court in the 10 years since. That being said, there’s a hesitance to modernize, thanks to the curmudgeonly among us (present company obviously excluded) that will die on the hill of Luddism. Thankfully, we have an unusually young bench here, and they’ve dragged our ancient, decrepit bar kicking and screaming into the 21st century.
I do not envy you in the least.
