Always learning something new..

I thought when a kid redshirted, by way of injury or otherwise, that the additional year was assumed and accounted for by the school. That means a kid that transfers to a program and sits out could have to transfer again if school doesn't decide to keep her after year 4. But my guess is that schools try to maintain good reputations and figure out how to keep kids. Although it's said scholarships are yearly commitments , rarely do you hear them not being renewed.
But my guess is that with kids being able to move more freely ,that coaches are going to start being more beholden to that year commitment.
