I know that’s harsh, but there’s very little in the last year and a half attributable to the senior leadership of that department that hasn’t been done poorly, not even at a mediocre level. The only thing that jumps out as a great achievement was not retaining a certain Assistant AD, and bringing in a high profile T&F coach. She doesn’t get credit for our natties her first year. Her mismanagement of our building plan, brand, style, women’s basketball coaching hire and messaging are what she has focused on. And those areas, quite frankly, are all disasters.

I really thought she was going to be our savior, but it turns out that the coaches we had in place were going to provide our resurrection. Her department seems less effective than ever, and I find myself regretting some of the assumptions I made regarding Littlepage’s administration.

I look forward to be proven wrong, but I feel fairly confident that we are not her dream (or final) destination as we were for CL.
