a short pattern (very well executed, as you said) does not reflect at all on whether Armstrong can consistently hit open receivers on deep and intermediate routes. He's missed more than I'd like to see is all I'm saying. It's his running ability (and toughness) that makes Armstrong special, at least in the small sample of his career we've seen so far.
